Grand Opera House Wellington :The Famous Diggers. Grand Opera House, com[mencing] Saturday, March 3rd [Postcard. 1923]
Shows the “Superb Six” (probably, as in programme for same performance) men in clown suits with ruffs, with eight young women also in fancy costume. The back of the card says: “Messrs Fama & Lawson have much pleasure in presenting “The Famous Diggers” with their latest addition, 10 beautiful girls, in delightful sketches, gorgeous costumes, glorious ballets, pretty songs. They still have a coterie of great comedians, the ever popular orchestra”
